Aaron Wayne Milby was born December 9, 1937 in Green County, KY., to the late Betty Mae Skaggs and Robert Luther Milby. He departed this life Saturday April 21, 2018 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital having attained the age of eighty years, four months and twelve days.
He was retired from the Green County School System where he managed the maintenance department. Aaron also spent more than fifty years running his antique furniture restoration business and loved working with his many customers. Throughout his life, he was devoted to his family, friends and the Summersville community. Aaron and his wife, Jeannette, helped establish and organize the Summersville Days festivals on behalf of the local volunteer fire department. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. Besides his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by one brother: Rev. Robert Milby.
He is survived by his wife: Jeannette Rose Milby of Summersville, one son and his wife: Michael Wayne Milby and Rosemary Taft-Milby of Cleveland, Ohio, two grandchildren: James Grant Milby of Washington, D.C., and his wife Holly Lynne Ratliff, and Anne Kathryn Milby of Bardstown, KY., and her husband Ian William Anderson and one sister: Barbara Rose Dalton of Scottsdale, Arizona plus a host of other relatives and friends.
